Building and Safety Division - Inspection Request Online
When requesting an inspection, please fill out the required information and indicate the day of inspection. Inspection request without a requested date will be performed the next business day. Inspections are normally performed between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You may call our office at (949) 248-3578 to confirm your inspection on the day of inspection. Inspector’s office hours are 8:00 – 10:00 AM only. If you would like the results of your inspection E-mailed to you, please make certain you fill out your E-mail address correctly. In the "Comment" box, please fill out any special requests or information you would like to give to the City Inspector.
The City of Dana Point has many gated communities within its boundaries. Please include any gate access codes required for entry into your community. Failure to provide a gate access code may cause your inspection to not be performed.
Please provide the approved plans and the inspection job card on site. Inspections can not be performed without them.
